Week Two

My second week with the ZACC started Monday evening.  A group of about 15 volunteers from the university got to work hanging the Missoula Monster Project.  Children ages 6-12 from some of the local elementary schools create a monster including some of their monsters' favorite things, and artists get assigned a monster to recreate through paint, ceramics, multimedia etc.  With over 200 monsters to hang we got to work!  We matched monsters with monsters, then started marking walls while others started hanging.

With all the monsters hung Wednesday came and Heather, the operations manager, hung labels while I reorganized the merchandise shelf and other miscellaneous items to get the space ready for the opening on Friday! I got the title of the show hung up and we were on our merry way to showtime!
